HAITI - a land of mountains.

We work in the mountains of central Haiti. Steep slopes, erosion from tropical rains, deforestation and poor crop yields have plunged the mountain people into a spiral of deepening poverty.  While many Haitians are desparately poor, those living in the mountains are among the most vulnerable people on earth. Even when financial assistance is available, mountain patients can't access healthcare.
