Dr. Alexi Matousek has been
traveling to the mountains of rural
Haiti for more than 20 years, working in development and healthcare.
He attended Rhodes College in Memphis TN
and earned an MD degree from the University
of Rochester. He received public health training at the Harvard School of Public Health and is a general surgery resident at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. He also completed a research fellowship at the Center for Surgery and Public Health.
Dr. Matousek's career goal is to improve surgical care delivery for the most vulnerable through innovation and research.
